Neighborhood construction destroyed previously existing wetlands in the 1950s and 1960s. The project goal was to enhanced over 250 acres of floodplain by returning river flows to the center of the Marsh.

North Fork Native Plants custom grew and delivered 38,000 wetland plugs in a 10 cubic inch and 16 cubic inch container size.
