Habitat Restoration Technician
Gain hands on experience doing habitat restoration work. Tasks may include native plant installation, seed collection, set up and take down of temporary irrigation and fencing, project site maintenance, and operation of hand tools such as chainsaws or augers. Be prepared to work outside every day. Employee's may be asked to stay overnight at a project site during the work week (lodging is provided; either in tents or hotels depending on how remote the project site is).
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Job Type: Temporary, Seasonal
Employment Season: May 1st through October or early November 2025 (Those with Fall college classes are still encouraged to apply.)
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected Hours and Schedule:
40 - 50 hours per week
8 to 11 hour shift
Monday through Thursday or Friday
