Featured Project

Project: Bayha Island
Location: Melba, ID
Client: Intermountain Aquatics
Date: 10/2016

Challenge:
This massive construction project organized by Idaho Power reshaped an island and charted a path for improved water conditions in the Snake River. The reconstructed floodplain required an immediate and comprehensive revegetation plan to follow, and in some cases coincide with construction.

Solution:
NFNP grew over 10,000 native shrubs and willows, 10,000 wetland plugs, and supplied 200 Wetland Sod Mats. IMA installed this material over the course of six deliveries in a one month period. The photos below in this order show: 1. containerized plants under irrigation at the site pre-install, 2. recently Installed Wetland Sod on the Snake River 3. Some of the many installed Deep Rooted 14" (Tall One Gallon) Willows and Dogwood custom grown specifically for this project (photo Idaho Power).
